R&A asset service management
An internal platform connecting equipment service requests, approvals, work assignments and maintenance history.
Following a maintenance job through
Refrigeration and air-conditioning maintenance involves more than a request and a completion checkbox. Someone reports a problem, an owner approves the work, a technical team reviews it, and a technician carries out the job. The equipment's history needs to survive each handover.
The R&A platform brings those stages together with an asset registry, service requests, work assignments and equipment lifecycle records.
Permissions follow responsibility
The implementation uses Laravel with React and Inertia. Microsoft Entra ID is the production sign-in provider, while the application manages business permissions.
Access depends on roles, organizational scope and asset ownership. Signing in establishes identity; it doesn't automatically grant access to every request or piece of equipment.
The workflow keeps approval, technical review and execution as distinct stages. My focus is on enforcing those transitions and retaining an attributable record of decisions and maintenance work.
This is an internal application. The case study describes the workflow and architecture without exposing operational records or private access links.
